The root of a gentleman's orchid is good, but it doesn't grow leaves. What's going on?
The root of gentleman orchid is normal and grows well. The leaves are also normal, bright green and free from diseases and insect pests. Such a gentleman orchid leaves should be said to be very normal, but the leaves do not necessarily grow. This is neither a morbid orchid, nor a poor growth of magnolia. I think the reason lies in two aspects.
First, the psychological role of people who raise magnolia. Generally speaking, flower growers revolve around flowers all day and watch flowers all day. Even if the leaves of Cymbidium have grown, because they look at flowers all day, they turn a blind eye to the growth of flowers, and they will not notice that the leaves are already growing. This is not only a visual perception problem that often occurs in general flower growers, but also a visual problem that is easy to occur.
Second, the supply of manure may not be sufficient. When the gentleman orchid is cultivated, the growth is abnormal because of insufficient fertilizer, single pot culture and no reference to compare. This is also a reasonable phenomenon that is easy to be ignored. The solution is to increase the application of organic fertilizer to the orchid, such as mature chicken manure and cake fertilizer through fermentation, applying 0.1 to 0.2 kg per pot. You can also use ordinary remixing, about 0.05 kg per basin. Magnolia lack of fertilizer, slow leaf growth, is also a very normal phenomenon, not easy to detect.
In short, the root growth of Cymbidium is normal, the plant is relatively normal, and there are no diseases and insect pests. It is found that there are two reasons for the lack of leaf growth, visual psychological effect and lack of fertilizer.
