There are many reasons for butterfly orchids. If the flowering time is due to withering, water and fertilizer management should be controlled to promote the effect of secondary flowering. If the temperature is too high, the flowerpot should be moved to a cool and ventilated place, and the temperature should be controlled at about 15-20 ℃. When there is often a shortage of water, water should be watered once in time, and the humidity should be kept at about 70-85%. Water should not be watered into the flowers.

Reasons for the wilting of butterfly orchids 1. Natural shedding

Phalaenopsis in the growth process, when the flower color is rich and diverse, usually in April to June in spring, its flowering period is very long, if the flowers to wither time, the flowers on the plant will appear a large number of absent-minded phenomenon, at this time should be timely cut off the residual flowers, control water and fertilizer, in order to promote the normal growth and development of the plant.

2. the temperature is too high

Phalaenopsis likes to grow in a warm environment, and if the temperature is higher than 30 ℃ during flowering, it will cause flowers to bloom for a long time, which is one of them, so it is necessary to move the plant to the air-drying position under high temperature and control the temperature at about 15-20 ℃, so that the flowering period will be longer.

3. Lack of water

Phalaenopsis likes to grow under moist conditions, and the potted soil often dries during flowering, which can easily hinder plant growth, shorten flowering period, and flowers will gradually wither. Water should be watered once in time at this time. In normal times, watering should keep the humidity at about 70-85%, not causing stagnant water.

4. Lack of light

Phalaenopsis likes light but is afraid of direct sunshine. if the growth environment is dark, it is easy to lead to flower dysplasia and withering. At this time, the plant should be moved to a sunny position. When the sun is strong at noon, shading treatment should be carried out to avoid sunburn and affect the normal flowering of Phalaenopsis.
