Since August this year, more than 7 million cabbage plants have been registered in China, which has exceeded the early warning value. since its listing in October, the wholesale price has dropped to 15 yuan per kilogram, down 40 percent from the same period last year. November entered a peak period, although the weather became cooler and the demand became higher. the wholesale price is still hovering around 16 yuan per kilogram.

In order to digest the explosive amount of cabbage, the Agriculture and Food Department and Yunlin County, a major producing area, adopted a multi-pronged approach. Apart from persuading farmers to reduce their seeds and working with the all-China Federation to focus on kale with hot pot ingredients, they also actively expanded overseas markets through vacuum precooling equipment to solve the problems of yellow leaves and rotten hearts encountered in long-distance transportation, prolong the storage and transportation period, and improve the quality of export. The Agriculture and Food Administration estimates that exports from November this year to April next year will reach 500 ─ 1000 metric tons. Today (14), the first batch of 14 tons of "early Autumn" Korean cabinets set sail and sold to the Chinese market in Canada.
