On the 14th, the soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan and Taichung City jointly held the "National meeting of soil and Water Conservation Service Troups" and invited nearly 200 representatives of soil and water conservation service delegations from 21 counties and cities across the country to Taichung to participate in a four-year event. Chen Ruchang, deputy secretary general of Taichung city government, thanked the delegation members for their dedication and dedication to soil and water conservation and hoped to continue to implement soil and water conservation. He also took this opportunity to promote the 2020 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taichung and invited them to participate in the event.

The event was jointly opened by Li Zhengyang, director of soil and water conservation of the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan, Deputy Secretary General Chen of the municipal government, and Fan Shiyi, director of water conservancy.

Deputy Secretary-General Chen Ruchang said that he is very glad to jointly hold this grand meeting with the soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture this year. In order to let the concept of soil and water conservation go deep into the community, Taichung City this year, in addition to giving lectures to the community through Mandarin or Hokkienese, for the first time in Hakka or aboriginal communities, the business of soil and water conservation is promoted in Hakka and aboriginal languages, and will be extended to more communities in the future to make soil and water conservation propaganda more approachable. We will also continue to take a proactive attitude to promote soil and water conservation management and implement soil and water resources conservation and land security.

This time, the main exhibition area is in Houlima Farm and Forest Park. The exhibition will run from February 8 to February 23 next year. The theme is the rainforest mystery and the world of artistic imagination, showing the images of ecological sustainability, artistic aesthetics, scientific and technological wisdom, and traditional innovation.
