Cage fish culture is now a commonly used way of fish culture in China, and it has a large culture area in our country. Specifically, the net is used to make it into a box cage, and then put in the selected waters for fish culture. Can carry on the high density breeding, but the farmed fish is also very many, now also quite common. So what is the specific way of raising fish in cages? The following editor will give you a brief introduction to the common ways of cage fish culture, let's have a look!

1. Fixed cage

Fixed cage is a way of fish culture in cage. Use a wooden pile or cement pile to fix it at the bottom of the water. Then the top should be high above the water, and then the cage should be fixed at the top of the pile, and the box should be about one meter above the water. Because of the strong firmness of the fixed cage, it is mainly used in the waters with strong wind and waves. However, if the water level changes, the fixed cage cannot float with it. And the water volume in the box will also change due to the change of water level. Therefore, when the water level rises and falls too much, it is not suitable to use fixed cages. In addition, the cage is fixed, so the maintenance and inspection is not very convenient, and the water pollution of the cage is relatively large, so it is generally used less.

2. Floating cage

Floating cage is the most commonly used way of raising fish in cage. The floating cage is directly suspended on the buoyancy device and frame, and the cage can float with the rise and fall of the water level. Therefore, the effective volume of the cage will not be affected. Floating cages are suitable for some waters with deep water and low wind and waves. And the cage off the ground is relatively high, can effectively reduce fish feces or feed pollution to the water body, so it can also maintain a good water quality. However, the wind and wave resistance of floating cages is poor, so we should pay attention to cover the net.

3. Sunken cage

Another way is to sink the cage. Sunk cage is a completely closed state, as the name implies, is to sink the whole cage into the water. Under normal circumstances, the sinking cage will not lead to the change of the effective volume because of the change of water level. Generally, sunken cages are suitable for use in some stormy waters or when fish species are filter-feeding fish. And after the water surface freezes in winter, sunk cages can be used to survive the winter. The sunken cage can effectively control the height, as long as the cage does not reach the bottom, then the effective volume will not be affected.

The above is a brief introduction to the common ways of cage fish culture. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can help you all.
