The magnolia is very beautiful and highly ornamental when it blossoms. In the breeding process requires careful maintenance in order to blossom exuberantly, there are several points we need to pay attention to.

1. Lighting

Most of the radiation to the gentleman orchid is scattered light, and the bright light can never be touched by it. From June to August, the flowerpot is withdrawn from the balcony to adjust the light to reduce the strong light so as not to fall flowers, and full sunshine can be restored after October.

2. Fertilization

In the peak growing season, the rotten thin liquid fertilizer was applied every 15 days, and the amount of fertilizer should be reduced from July to August. Phosphate fertilizer is applied once a week for 1-2 months before blooming to help flower buds grow. Pay attention to avoid fertilizer damage caused by thick fertilizer.

3. Watering

Watering during the flowering period can not be too much, there can not be stagnant water in the basin soil, too humid environment is easy to let flowers fall prematurely. Less watering is needed at the end of the flowering period and during the winter period to ensure that the pot soil is slightly wet.

4. Temperature

The normal growth temperature of Cymbidium is between 15 and 25 ℃, and the temperature of flower bud and bud should be stable at 18 ℃. The highest temperature should not exceed 30 ℃ and the lowest temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃, otherwise the growth of Cymbidium would be inhibited.

5. Pruning

All the withered branches and rotten leaves, diseased branches and weak leaves and overgrown branches and leaves should be removed before flowering so as to avoid nutrition dispersion. The remaining flowers need to be cut off at the end of the flowering period so as not to snatch the nutrients and cause the branches to rot.
