Planting technique of winter lettuce in greenhouse
Lettuce is a common vegetable in our daily life, and it has a wide planting area in China. Now as the planting technology becomes more and more mature, it is basically possible to plant lettuce in greenhouses all year round. Now, with the temperature gradually decreasing, how to grow lettuce in greenhouse in winter? The following small series brings you the planting technology of greenhouse winter lettuce. Let's have a look together!
1. Garden selection
The root capacity of lettuce is relatively weak, so the nutrient absorption capacity will not be very strong. lettuce is not suitable for growth in high humidity environment, if long time in high humidity environment, then easy to occur downy mildew, sclerotiorum, etc., on the growth of lettuce is will cause great impact. In addition, lettuce in the growth of oxygen requirements are relatively high. Therefore, winter lettuce garden should be selected to establish in the high terrain, normal irrigation and humus rich soil, preferably sandy loam, but also to ensure that the soil has a strong water and fertilizer conservation.
2. Variety selection
Winter lettuce variety selection is very important, to the late-maturing varieties, if it is early-maturing varieties, then easy to appear early bolting phenomenon. Therefore, varieties such as Sanqingpi and Jinming No.1 should be selected, among which Sanqingpi varieties generally take about three months from sowing to harvest. Jinming No. 1 is a new variety in recent years. It has strong resistance to sclerotiorum and matures in about three months. Suitable varieties directly determine whether lettuce can survive the winter safely, and are also the key to successful planting.
3. Timely sowing
Winter lettuce planting time is generally around September, the average daily temperature should not be higher than 23 degrees. We should treat the seeds well before sowing. Wrap the seeds in gauze and soak them in water for about 5 hours. Then remove the seeds and put them in the refrigerator for about two days. After sowing, the temperature should be controlled at about 18 degrees Celsius, and the sowing density should be controlled. The seed amount per mu should be about 15kg. The seedbed should be based on a vegetable garden with sufficient fertility, apply sufficient base fertilizer, and then deeply turn the soil, water and cover the soil before sowing.
4. Seedling management
After sowing can not cover the soil, gently pull the topsoil can be. Then cover the sunshade net for about three days, do a good job of shading, and keep the temperature of the seedbed at about 22 degrees. When the cotyledons of seedlings are relatively plump, they can contact the sunshade net. After emergence, the daytime temperature is controlled at about 20 degrees, and the temperature difference between day and night is maintained at 10 degrees. And to spray chlorothalonil and other chemicals appropriately, do a good job of seedling pest control work. Seedlings generally do not need topdressing, keep the leaf color of seedlings light, which is conducive to the slow seedlings after transplanting, but pay attention to weeding to avoid weeds affecting the growth of seedlings.
The above is a simple introduction to the greenhouse winter lettuce planting technology. Today's introduction is here, this article is for reference only, I hope to help everyone oh!
