I. temperature

1. High temperature aquatic flowers: mainly originated in the tropical plain, the cultivation temperature is 16-30 degrees, such as Wanglian requires high temperature conditions, when the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, the plant will stop growing.

2. Medium and low temperature aquatic flowers: mainly originated in warm temperate zone and temperate zone, with cultivation temperature of 10-18 degrees, such as Nymphaeaceae, Araceae, Cyperaceae, Lycopodiaceae, Euphorbiaceae and so on.

Second, lighting

To know that plants use light for photosynthesis, it can be said that light is one of the important elements that affect the normal growth and development of aquatic flowers, without light, they can not provide energy for themselves. Because of the types of aquatic flowers, the requirements for light intensity and light time are different, which can be divided into light-loving aquatic flowers, shade-moisture-tolerant aquatic flowers and mesophytic aquatic flowers. According to the sunshine time required for the growth and development of aquatic flowers, they can be divided into short-day aquatic flowers, long-day aquatic flowers and middle-Japanese aquatic flowers, as follows:

1. Light-loving aquatic flowers: completely exposed to light, such as Nelumbo nympha, Nymphaea, Lysimachia, and so on.

2. Shady and wet-resistant aquatic flowers: 60% of 80% shade is required, such as water ferns, Araceae plants, umbrella plants and so on.

3. Mesophytic aquatic flowers: they need 40% shade and are not resistant to high temperature exposure in summer, such as Iris flavescens, alisma orientalis, peppermint and other aquatic flowers.

4. Short-day aquatic flowers: short sunshine time, weak transmittance and rapid development, such as water sieve, water plantain, water fern and so on.

5. Long-day aquatic flowers: the longer the sunshine hours, the faster the development, and the higher the seed setting rate, such as Euryale, Wang lotus, sleeping lotus, Pingpeng grass and other open field planting aquatic flowers and plants.

6. Chinese and Japanese aquatic flowers: the requirement for sunshine length is not high, and the growth and flowering are not affected by sunshine length, such as umbrella grass, Saxifraga, tortoise back bamboo and other aquatic flowers.

III. Water quality

Water is an indispensable condition for the growth of aquatic flowers. in addition to carbon and oxygen, the nutrients needed for the growth of hydroponic flowers are obtained from water in the roots.

IV. Fertilizer

During the growth of aquatic flowers, various nutrients and trace elements, such as potassium, calcium, sulfur, magnesium and manganese, are needed to maintain normal life activities. These nutrient elements have different functional advantages. Carbon, hydrogen and oxygen are the main elements for photosynthesis.
