A simple method of Water-inserted Flower Culture
The methods of artificial cultivation of flowers include seeds, spores and cuttings, of which cutting is the most important method. The cutting culture method has many advantages, the main advantages are: simple method, sufficient materials, large seedling production, rapid seedling formation, early flowering, and can maintain the inherent characteristics of the original varieties. In addition to the above advantages, aquaculture also has the following advantages:
Sufficient water, high humidity on the water surface, good ventilation, small temperature difference between day and night, which is conducive to the rooting of flowers. The management is simple, hygienic, time-saving and labor-saving.
1. Water insertion method
1.1 use wide-mouth bottles, beakers, cans, water cups and other containers with larger caliber to fill with water, then cut about 10 cm long, containing 2 Mel 4 healthy and pest-free branches, and insert them into the water. In the process of rooting, pay attention to keep the water quality clean and change the water once every 2 days if necessary. In addition, it is better to dry the sap branches in the shade and then insert them in the shade.
1.2 using cuttings on the surface of large pots, glass tanks, ponds, ponds, etc., select one or more foam boards, punch round holes of about 3 cm according to a certain line spacing and plant spacing, and then insert the cut branches into the round holes one by one; finally, float them on the water. Similarly, attention should be paid to keeping the water quality clean in the process of rooting. Flowers that are easy to take root can take root after about 15 days. Flowers that are difficult to take root can also take root after 1 Murray for 2 months. When the root grows to 3-5 cm, it can be taken out and planted in a flowerpot. Put the flowers just on the pot in a cool place, and after 7 Murray slowed down the seedlings for 10 days, a new pot of flowers was cultured successfully. The method of rooting with water is suitable for many flowers.
2. Species of aquaculture
By drawing lessons from the experience of predecessors and the author's water insertion experiments in greenhouse and laboratory, the common flowers that can be used for water planting are as follows:
Tortoise back bamboo, jasmine, tiger thorn plum, plantain, rust ball, ivy, four seasons begonia, Indian rubber tree, oleander, gardenia, inverted golden bell, Ho's impatiens, purple velvet, longevity flower, cold water flower, dry umbrella grass, colored leaf grass, peach leaf coral, hanging orchid, flower evergreen, immortal vine, green apple, bamboo joint begonia, silver star begonia, dry golden lotus, sea taro, hanging bamboo plum, jade tree, auspicious grass, synthetic taro, variable leaf, Fragrant dragon blood tree, purple leaf grass, flower and leaf hanging branch bean pea green, cactus, rose, night incense, big aloe, Douban green (can also be inserted in leaves), goose palm wood, Taiwan goose palm wood, bachelor tree, poinsettia, tiger tail orchid (leaf cutting), chrysanthemum, Guangdong evergreen, firethorn.
