Watering orchids should be carried out in different seasons. In spring, when everything recovers, it should be watered before 9 o'clock every morning to avoid watering in the evening; in the dry and hot summer, it should be watered once every morning and evening to strengthen indoor ventilation; it can be watered every two days in rainy autumn, and it is generally watered according to soil moisture in winter.

1. Spring

Orchids are usually watered before 9 o'clock every morning in spring, and do not water the plants in the evening or in the early morning, because the water is not well ventilated at night, and the water can not be completely dispersed, which can easily cause waterlogging in the root system of the plant and cause the death of the orchid caused by root rot.

2. Summer

The summer weather is dry and hot, the water loss of the plant is fast, at this time increase the watering times, water once every morning and evening, watering thoroughly, keep the soil of the plant in a moist state, and strengthen the circulation of indoor air, often spray the plant with water mist to make its stem and leaf surface moist.

3. Autumn

Autumn is a season of continuous rain and temperature ups and downs, the temperature difference in a day is very large, and the air is very humid, so you can water it every two days. If you encounter continuous rainy days, you can stop watering to ensure that the soil drainage is normal and avoid root waterlogging.

4. In winter, the air is very dry and the temperature is low. In winter, orchids are generally watered once a month to keep the soil slightly wet. The roots of plants have weak absorptive capacity in winter, and if they are watered more, they will cause waterlogging and rot of their roots, and serious ones will cause plants to wither and die.
