Konjac is a popular vegetable in China, and now with the passage of time, it is slowly coming to the end of autumn. Late autumn is also the harvest season for konjac, because the yield of konjac is relatively high. Therefore, for some harvested konjac can not be processed and listed in time, then we all need to do a good job of storage to avoid decay. So how to store the konjac? The following editor has brought the storage method of konjac, let's have a look!

1. Store in a heap

When we harvest konjac, if the output is too large to be put on the market. Then you don't have to dig up all the konjac, but keep some of the konjac in the plot where the konjac is planted. About 30 days after the seedlings of the aboveground part of Konjac withered, then choose a piece of nylon film to cover the land directly, and compact the film with stone to prevent air leakage and water leakage. And dig a small ditch around the land to avoid stagnant water. Then it can be processed and eaten as soon as it is picked.

2. Soil buried storage

After all the konjac has been harvested, we can also choose the method of soil storage if we need to store it. First of all, we should choose a place with high terrain, leeward and sufficient light, and dig a rectangular pit with a depth of about one meter, with the length and width depending on the quantity of storage. Then lay a layer of hay at the bottom of the pit, then put the konjac into the pit, then cover with a layer of straw after the konjac pile is finished, and finally cover the soil.

3. Indoor storage

Indoor storage first needs to prepare baskets, then fill the baskets with konjac, and then pour blighted grain into the baskets to fill the gap between konjac. Then put the baskets in a ventilated and dry place indoors, and keep a good temperature, which should not be too low. About 30 days after the death of konjac seedlings is the best time to harvest konjac. Because after the konjac seedlings withered, the underground konjac will continue to grow. If the konjac is harvested prematurely, the konjac is tender and the storage performance is relatively low. Then after the konjac harvest, we should pay attention to remove the injured buds, and then separate the commercial konjac and seed, and wait until the surface moisture of konjac is slightly dry before storage.

4. Cellar storage

If there is a cellar at home, then we can also use cellar storage to store konjac. However, it should be noted that no matter what the form of the cellar is, it is necessary to ensure good thermal insulation. And the cellar should be disinfected before storage. Spray and disinfect the cellar with methyl topiramate, or use sulfur to fumigate in the cellar. Then the konjac that needs to be stored can be stored directly into the cellar, and the storage quantity can be kept at about 2 × 3 of the cellar volume.

The above is a brief introduction to the storage methods of konjac. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only. I hope it can help you all.
