1, Film characteristics

2. Land preparation

3. Coating method

After the pumpkin plot is done, it should be covered with plastic film in time. It can improve the ability of soil moisture preservation and warming, and can not be selected for mulching in rainy days. It should be carried out when the temperature is high on a sunny day, because if the film is covered in a low temperature environment, then in a sunny day, the film is easily broken by thermal expansion and then by wind blowing. When covering the film, pay attention to slowly unfolding, flattening and tensioning the film. Make the mulch completely close to the ground. After mulching, press both sides of the mulch with soil. About 20cm of film is not covered between ridges, which is convenient for later watering.

4. Plastic film planting

For plastic film mulching cultivation of pumpkin, its planting method can be seedling transplanting, but also direct seeding. There are two methods of planting. First, cover the film directly on the field, and then plant seedlings according to the row spacing of planting plants. The seedlings can also be planted first, and the openings are opened according to the position of the seedlings when covering the film. When covering soil, first cover about 80%, then water properly and then cover flat. The planting holes on the plastic film should also be tightly pressed with soil.
