1. Selection of species and sites

Nursery grounds should also choose plots that are fertile, rich in organic matter, convenient for drainage and irrigation, leeward and sunny, and have not planted eggplant fruit vegetables and potatoes in three years. 2. Seed treatment

The temperature is low in autumn, the accumulated temperature of seed germination is not enough, so the germination rate is low, so in order to improve the germination rate, promote seedling strong, seedling Qi. The seeds can be soaked in warm soup before sowing. That is, use hot water of about 55 degrees, put seeds while stirring until the water temperature drops to 30 degrees, stop stirring, continue soaking seeds for 5-8 hours and then scrub the seeds, scrub the surface mucus clean, dry and then sow seeds. Or you can soak the seeds in clean water for 5-8 hours, let them absorb enough water and soak them with carbendazim 500 times or thiophanate-methyl (thiophanate-methyl) solution for 15-20 minutes, which can play a germicidal effect. 3. Sowing and raising seedlings

After autumn, the temperature and ground temperature of eggplant sowing period are still relatively high, so you can sow seedlings in the open field. Seeding in seedling bed is generally 4-5 grams per square meter, while an one-mu field generally requires 4-5 square meters of seeding bed and 35-40 square meters of pseudo-planting seedbed. 2-3 days before sowing, soil preparation and fertilization are required. 1-2 kg of rotten chicken manure per mu is applied. The surface soil can be disinfected and sterilized with carbendazim or topazin.
