When some flower friends know about flowers and plants, they see that there is extra-root fertilization, but they do not know what extra-root fertilization is. In fact, extra-root topdressing is a fertilization method in which the diluent of chemical fertilizer or trace elements is sprayed on the leaf surface and absorbed by the plant through the leaf stomata, so it is also called foliar fertilization (popularly said to be foliar fertilizer).

The advantages of extra-root fertilization are: small dosage, rapid and significant fertilizer effect, fertilizer will not be fixed by soil, not affected by root absorption function, and so on.

Inorganic fertilizer is usually sprayed on the leaf surface, which can be absorbed within 5 hours after spraying, can be absorbed within 24 hours, and the fertilizer effect lasts for 7-10 days, so it is appropriate to spray extra-root fertilizer once every 7-10 days, except for flowering period. Extra-root topdressing can be carried out in the rest of the time, but it is usually carried out when flowers and trees grow vigorously or lack certain elements.

Ps: the application method and concentration of different foliar fertilizers will be different. Flower friends can refer to the instructions on the packaging for spraying.
