When it comes to the inner gate of Kaohsiung, what attracts the most attention is the Song Jiang Front, which has a history of more than 200 years, and the cauldron eating, which flourished with the cultural supply members of the Arts Arena, and later became a kind of outsider industry for weddings and funerals. Neimen has become the hometown of the largest number of chief shops in Taiwan. Under these folk cultures with a long history, the "flaming crane flowers" in the inner gate have also become an important export industry representing Taiwan in the past two decades. Flamingos blooming one after another, winning glory for the country with a beautiful posture.

The inner gate is located in the remote, the soil structure is the parent material of bluish ash mudstone, and the territory is mostly hilly topography, which is the source of Erren Creek and Nanzixian Creek, the water source is not abundant, and the stream water rises and falls abruptly in the rainy season, the soil is sticky and dry in winter, and the whole environment is not easy to conserve water. most of the ponds store water for irrigation, due to weather restrictions on agricultural conditions, there are few rice grains, dense thorns and bamboos have almost no economic value. Although the Neimen people, who are poor in soil but hardworking and pragmatic, choose suitable crops according to local conditions, such as flamingos, longan, honey, guava, pineapples, omnipotent potatoes, and so on, they are still known as excellent agricultural villages and towns in Neimen.

Back in the 1980s, the early inner door farming industry had not yet been transformed, and the bad terrain was not conducive to the growth of crops, so farmers in the inner gate area tried their best to develop other sources of money, including "livestock raising." the pig industry grew greatly after World War II and became the main source of income for many insiders. In 1997, foot-and-mouth disease broke out in Taiwan, and in just a few months, the whole of Taiwan fell to the enemy. After suffering heavy losses, some pig farmers began to find another way out. Through the promotion and guidance of the government, some pig farmers chose to transform into another emerging flower agriculture "flamingos" at that time. At that time, when Taiwan's flower industry was still in the heyday of export, it was known as the "Flower Kingdom" in the international community. However, looking back at the aging of rural agriculture, there is an urgent need to inject young vitality into agriculture in order to be sustainable, so in 2006, the Council of Agriculture launched the "floating Bird Program" to encourage young people to take part in agricultural production and become the "resident birds" of the new agriculture in Taiwan. Under the promising prospect, it attracted many young farmers to return to their hometown and go to the inner door to invest in flower cultivation.

We all know the beauty of the flaming crane flowers in the inner door.

Li Jilai is the monitor of the fifth class of flower production and marketing in the inner gate area of Kaohsiung City. he was selected as the first-generation farmer in Kaohsiung in 2012. although he represents the new type of agricultural management, he actually joined the fire crane industry as early as 1997. he has accumulated 22 years of rich planting experience, and it can be said that he deserves it.

Looking back at that time, because he wanted to engage in exquisite agriculture with high output value and stable benefits, monitor Li transformed the lemon garden in Qishan into a fire crane farm. Planting fiery crane flowers requires the construction of greenhouses and automation facilities, and the hardware alone is expensive, not to mention that the protagonist of the farm-imported seedlings can easily cost NT $6 or 70, and can only rely on loans to open his way to transformation with four and a half cents of farmland. The quality of the crane flower in the inner door is affirmed by the market, and the signature variety introduced by the monitor Li is "Dream", which can be said to be the treasure of the town, suitable for both weddings and funerals. But "Dream" is delicate and quite afraid of heat. In order to solve the problem of "heat damage" in summer, based on the principle of "feeling the need of flowers with human body", he decided not to use the common method of "making fog", but to use watering sprinklers, sprinkling water every 20 minutes. It is conceivable that in the original muggy environment, flowers are just like people, how comfortable and pleasant they will feel in the cold water. And "Dream" is naturally more comfortable in the hot summer to show her gradual color of red and green in white.

At that time, the Neimen District Farmers' Association gathered a group of flower farmers to set up the first and second classes of flower production and marketing classes, and extended to Class 5. At present, there are about 30-40 farmers engaged in flaming crane flower agriculture in Neimen, with an average age of 40-60 years old. Fine agriculture needs to introduce young people back to their hometown to work as farmers, and only in breeding, management and technology can they gain new knowledge and make progress. Hong Xuan, director general of the Inner Gate Peasant Association, mentioned: "the Inner door began to promote the cultivation of flamingos in 1984. at the same time, Wenxinlan, Phalaenopsis and Cymbidium are all items for young farmers to return to their hometown to invest in flower planting. Farmers will strive for related software and hardware subsidies and start classes for young farmers. Farmers try to learn new types of network cultivation, groping for management techniques, temperature control, and improving productivity." At that time, this group of young people are now in middle age, relying on teamwork and their own efforts to pull the output and output value of flamingos to the first place in Taiwan. Cegken, director of the promotion unit of the Inner door Peasants' Association, said that the fire crane produced by the inner door is sold both domestically and externally, accounting for about 40% of domestic sales and 60% of export. Each year, there are about 110-1.5 million cut flowers in the domestic market and 1.5 million cut flowers for export. The flamingos are promoted and sold to various places through agricultural transportation and marketing and import and export trading companies.

Made in Taiwan, the flamingo flower is not absent in the inner door.
