What are the sowing methods of flower seeds
Sowing methods: there are three general sowing methods of garden plants: sowing, strip sowing and on-demand sowing.
(1) sowing method: spread the seeds evenly on the border surface. This method has a large amount of sowing and a lot of seedlings. Its disadvantage is that due to the overcrowding of seedlings, lack of light and poor air circulation, it is easy to cause the phenomenon of seedling overgrowth. This method is mostly used for sowing a large number of seeds and small seeds. Potted sowing also often uses this method.
(2) sowing method: the method of sowing seeds into strips. This method has sufficient sunshine, good ventilation and strong seedling growth, but the seedling emergence is not as good as that of sowing. It is mainly used for seeds with high emergence rate and hotbed sowing.
(3) on-demand sowing method: according to a certain plant distance, opening holes and sowing seeds, generally sowing 2-4 seeds in each hole, leaving 1 plant with strong growth after germination, and the rest can be transplanted elsewhere or pulled out. The seedling growth of this method is the most robust, but the seedling emergence is the least. It is mostly used for sowing large seeds or a small number of seeds.
