I. Disinfection treatment

The rootlessness of a gentleman's orchid is often due to root rot, so it is cut off. After cutting, you need to disinfect first, and you can use carbendazim or potassium permanganate with water to make a disinfectant. Then soak the trimmed place and go to the place to dry after 30-40 minutes. The disinfectant should not be too strong, the content of carbendazim should be about 0.05%, and the potassium permanganate solution should be diluted to pink.

2. Preparation of basin soil

In order for the orchid to take root, it is necessary to provide a suitable environment, and potted soil is the first step to help it take root. The soil should be as soft as possible and have good drainage. The soil that is too sticky and heavy is disadvantageous to the growth of the root system. Sand and vermiculite can be used to make basin soil, which is conducive to its rooting.

Third, plant on the pot

When the potted soil is ready, the magnolia can be replanted. In order to have enough space for the roots to grow, the bottom can be wrapped in sawdust and then filled in a basin. Then spray a little water and put it in a cool and ventilated place.

IV. Follow-up maintenance

During the rooting period of Cymbidium, the moisture should not be too much, and you can wait until the surface soil is dry and watered. Don't pour water into the leaf core, or it will cause it to rot. During the maintenance period, you can't see the light, wait until it takes root and then slowly increase the light.
