Orchids have been loved by Chinese people since ancient times. Orchids in Lanyou's family have been raised for many years and are full of flowerpots. They are worried about how to divide the pots. Today, lobular leaves will talk about it.

Water control

When dividing the basin, it is necessary to stop watering a few days in advance and keep the basin soil dry, so that the root system of the orchid plant becomes soft and not easy to break, and it is easy to operate when turning the basin, otherwise the orchid root absorbs enough water and is easy to break.

Inverted pot ramet

After taking out the orchid plant, gently remove the soil, trim the empty roots, diseased roots and diseased yellow leaves while straightening out the staggered orchid roots, and be careful not to damage the leaf buds and new roots. After looking for the ramet point to be broken by hand, the ramet point is the place where the gap between the false bulbs is relatively large, commonly known as the road. The root system of each plant should be retained, and it is appropriate to keep more than 2 seedlings.

Dry and serve.

After the divided orchid seedlings are washed and dried, they can be served in the basin. The bottom of the flowerpot can be covered with a layer of tiles, ceramsite and so on, which can strengthen the ventilation and drainage function at the bottom. After that, add soil with one hand to 2-3 cm from the edge of the basin, and then lift the orchid plant slightly, with the height of the pseudo-bulb flush with the soil surface, gently pressing the basin soil so that the soil is in close contact with the root, so as not to cause voids by watering. Finally, the soil surface can be covered with a layer of moss to moisturize. An appropriate amount of Ye Hong time microbial agent orchid special fertilizer can be added to the soil to promote the growth of orchid roots and reduce diseases and insect pests.

Late maintenance

After pouring a fixed root water on the basin, it is best to use the soaking method to make the basin absorb enough water. Then put the orchid in a place away from light to control water and fertilizer, and place it in a brightly lit place about half a month to one month later, ventilated and ventilated.
