How to reproduce and breed goose palm wood
Schefflera chinensis is an evergreen shrub belonging to Araliaceae, which is widely distributed in China. Goosefoot firewood is now a large potted plant in China, more suitable for display in various public places, ornamental value is very high. Now the planting area of goosefoot firewood is very large, so how to carry out propagation and interbreeding when planting goosefoot firewood? The following small series will briefly introduce you, let's take a look together!
1. Soil insertion
Soil cutting is one of the cutting methods of Schefflera chinensis. Before soil cutting, we should first cut off the branches of 12-14 cm in length before the branches of spring plants have not sprouted. Remove the lower leaves of the branches, retain about 3 leaves at the top, and then cut the lower ends of the branches into inclined planes. Then use pearlite or fine river sand to configure the matrix, and insert the branches into about 2/3. After cuttage, water should be sprayed appropriately, shade should be done well, and low light environment should be provided. If it is sunny, water it once a day. The temperature is controlled at about 20 degrees Celsius. It will take root in about 45 days. It can be transplanted about 2-4 weeks after taking root.
2, water plug
Water plug first to choose a clean cuttage container, and then choose a strong non-wound branches, the length of about 8cm. The lower part of the branches should be kept smooth, and the top leaves should be kept about 3 pieces. Then fill the container with clean water and insert the cuttings directly into the container. It should be noted that the cuttings should be suspended in water and should not touch the bottom or wall of the container. Control the number of cuttings according to the specifications of the container. After cutting, pay attention to wrapping the cuttings with transparent plastic bags to provide appropriate scattered light. The temperature is controlled at about 20 degrees Celsius, and then transplanted when the roots are about two centimeters long.
3. All-light fog cutting
All-light fog cuttings first need to use film or glass greenhouse for goosefoot to create a high humidity environment. allowing goosewood to reproduce faster in hot, wet conditions. Then at the bottom of the cutting groove, spread a layer of brick, and then spread a layer of 30cm thick sterilized sand on the brick. Select the branches of the current year and control the length to about 8cm. The cuttings were then treated in the same way as water cuttings, then inserted about 2/3 of the cuttings, and then sprayed. The temperature should also be maintained at about 20 degrees Celsius. Water should be sprayed once a day to the leaves. After rooting, they can be planted.
The above is a simple introduction to how to breed and cultivate goosefoot firewood. There are many ways to breed and transplant goosefoot firewood, which requires everyone to choose reasonably according to their own habits and conditions.
