How to kill insects and disinfestation of indoor potted flowers
Potted flowers that spend the winter indoors often cause some piercing pests to be rampant because of the high indoor temperature and shady environment. Here are several simple manual deworming methods:
① aphids: aphids are generally distributed in the tender parts. The basin can be tilted and placed under the tap pipe, and the infested parts can be washed with fine water. This method can not only get rid of insects, but also wash away the dust on the leaf surface and make the flowers more fresh and beautiful.
② shell insects, bamboo needles, matchsticks and other things gently remove the worms, or gently wipe them off with a soft cloth or soft brush.
③ whitefly: wipe off the nymph on the back of the leaf with a soft cloth. Flying adults can be caught by sticking, that is, preparing a board, painting it with yellow paint or applying butter paper, applying sticky oil on its surface, holding the board on the edge of the plant, and vibrating the plant to make the whitefly fly to the yellow board (whitefly has a yellowing habit).
④ red spider: the red spider is small and harmful to the back of the leaves. The injured leaves are covered with small yellow spots and red worms on the back. Less insects can be killed by hand, but more leaves should be removed and burned.
