Recently, there are many haze days, which have a great impact on human beings and other organisms. The cause of haze is pollution, water molecules in the air, and the main reason is that the air flows slowly and is relatively static. Therefore, haze days have a great impact on the growth of edible fungi, not necessarily caused by haze, but mainly caused by the lack of air flow, and the air flow is poor. All the carbon dioxide produced by the respiration of edible fungi is accumulated in the mushroom shed, which is extremely disadvantageous to the growth of edible fungi.

Haze Edible Fungi Management

1. Strengthen temperature management, heat preservation is the main production in winter, and raise the temperature in the shed as much as possible during the day (within the high temperature range that edible fungi can withstand) to ensure that the night temperature will not be too low.

2. Strengthen the water management, the air flow is poor and the water loss is less in haze days. Under the condition of ensuring the normal growth of edible fungi, the watering times and water quantity should be reduced.

3. Strengthen ventilation management, which is the key to production. Sometimes, even if the vents are open, the air does not flow, and the concentration of carbon dioxide will rise, affecting the normal growth of edible fungi; therefore, on the basis of natural ventilation, regularly turn on the exhaust fan for forced ventilation, 2-3 times a day, 5-10 minutes each time, the carbon dioxide deposited in the shed can be discharged to facilitate the normal breathing of edible fungi.
