Duck farmers in Ilan have a history of more than a hundred years, and good mountains and good waters produce the best duck meat, thus achieving the reputation of "duck township Ilan". Yilan County-coaching the duck-scented activity held by the Yilan County Duck production Cooperative into its 13th year. This year, for the first time, the event held a competition with the theme of "Ilan Duck Noodle", calling on the good players in the county to challenge and interpret the good taste in memory.

Yilan County-expressed the hope that through this duck noodle competition, more high-quality duck noodle shops and ideas can be seen, interpret different flavors for duck noodles, and start a new duck cuisine revolution after cherry roast duck.

At a press conference held at the county government on the 10th, a professional jury was formed by Mr. Xu Liangmin of Lanyang Institute of Technology, Master Chen Zhaolin, head chef of the state banquet, and Professor Xie Shufen, an expert in food. Together with the county magistrate, Lin Zimiao cooked the first bowl of duck noodles for the duck-scented activity in Duck Township, symbolizing the official start of the event.

The "Ilan Duck Noodle" competition is divided into two groups, namely, the physical storefront group with physical storefronts in Ilan and the creative unlimited group without physical storefronts. The competition will be signed up until September 23. The first stage of the competition is scored by a professional jury, accounting for 70% of the total score, focusing on taste, appearance, creativity and price. The remaining 30% of the scores will be voted by the general public at the Zhongxing Cultural and Creative Park, the main venue of the duck fragrance event in Duck Township on November 2. From now on, the public evaluation network of duck noodle competition will be opened, and there are only 300 places. "die-hard fans" who love duck meat will join us as soon as possible.
