1. Soil
If you want to plant a good stone flower, you must first choose the culture soil suitable for its growth. Stone flower likes the soil with loose air permeability and good water holding capacity, if the soil permeability is not increased, it may cause its plant to rot, so choose granular soil to increase air permeability. Suitable culture soil can be mixed with 1/3 readily available coarse river sand, 1/3 vermiculite and 1/3 humus. In order to ensure its better growth, an appropriate amount of bone powder can be added as base fertilizer when preparing culture soil.
2. Temperature
Stone flowers like to follow in a warm climate of 15-25 degrees, the temperature can not be higher than 28 degrees, otherwise the stone flowers will go into a dormant state, so be sure to control the temperature in summer, do not put it in a hot environment. The cold resistance of stone flower is also relatively poor, so it should be cultured indoors in winter and keep the temperature above 8 degrees to avoid frostbite. Summer high temperature and strong light, it should be placed in a ventilated, scattered light place, should not be exposed to the sun, otherwise the plant will burn, spring and autumn to let it receive full sunshine, winter should be placed in a warm place to receive light.
3. Watering
Do not water the stone flower too often, because it does not like water very much, if it is watered too much, it may lead to rotten roots and the growth of moss around it, which will affect its normal growth. Usually only need to ensure that the plant top window has a certain hardness, touch will not produce depression. That is to say, when the top window of the plant is touched, there will be depressions and even folds, indicating that it is short of water and needs to be replenished in time.
4. Fertilization
Stone flowers will peel in February to April every year, during this period to reduce watering, so as not to let it molt as soon as possible, some people like to be frozen to help it molt, but this practice is not recommended, although it can speed up the molting of stone flowers, but without sufficient experience, it is very easy to hurt this kind of, often the loss outweighs the gain. In order to make the plant grow better, it is best to give it a compound fertilizer after molting to improve its growth ability.
