How to breed magnolia? Potted orchids believe that many people have raised them in their homes, and basically they are common potted varieties. The market prospect of Cymbidium is good, and it is easy to feed, but some problems often occur in the process of breeding. 1. Improvement of soil quality

Magnolia belongs to tropical plants, but at the same time it is also very afraid of heat, which we should pay attention to in the process of breeding. Gentleman orchids are not cold-resistant, so they generally like to live in a semi-overcast and semi-wet environment, with light, but not direct light.

The planting soil of Cymbidium had better be sandy soil, and the soil acidity and alkalinity had better be slightly acidic. When the soil quality is improved, sufficient organic fertilizer should be added, then intensive cultivation should be carried out, and finally ditches should be opened for border cultivation.

2. Seed treatment

At present, there are mainly five varieties of Cymbidium, namely, Cymbidium, Cymbidium, Strange Cymbidium, Cymbidium and Cymbidium.

At present, the main planting methods of Cymbidium are ramet propagation and seed propagation, and the most commonly used method is seed propagation. Before sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for about 30 minutes, then remove them to dry. Then soak it in the sodium phosphate solution for more than 20 minutes, and then soak it out in clean water for about 12 hours, and then sow the seeds. The way of sowing can be strip sowing or on demand, and the distance between each flower species is generally about 6~8cm.

III. Seedling management

After the seeds are sown, the seedlings will generally emerge in about 7-15 days. After emergence, please remember to water them in time, and be careful not to water them every day. It is usually watered every other week or so.

About a week after emergence, but also timely check the growth of Cymbidium seedlings, in the case of lack of seedlings, we need to lift the soil, understand the reason and then replenish the seedlings. When the orchid grows to about a month, it needs to be irrigated with organic fertilizer and water.

IV. Maintenance and management

When the orchid grows 3 or 4 true leaves, it can be transplanted into the pot, and the florists will prepare the pot in advance. When transplanting, it will be put into the basin together with the gentleman orchid base soil, and remember to water it after transplanting.

The topdressing of Cymbidium in the later growth stage is mainly based on cake fertilizer, fish meal and bone meal, which is to improve the vitality of Cymbidium. At the same time, we should also apply liquid fertilizer, but do not pour liquid fertilizer on the leaves of the magnolia. If you want to reasonably control the light exposure of magnolia, it is best to build a greenhouse, which can also be used for temperature control.

V. matters needing attention

In fact, there are many points to pay attention to in orchid planting, for example, orchids like semi-overcast and semi-wet environment, but many flower growers will over-water or over-fertilize and so on.

Note that chemical fertilizer can not be used in orchid fertilization, the cultivation process of Cymbidium should not be short of water, and the water should not be accumulated. When the magnolia grows to a certain size, it needs to change the basin, the size of the basin should be able to accommodate its root growth.
