Base fertilizer: organic fertilizer and granular inorganic compound fertilizer are mostly used as base fertilizer. Before ploughing the land, spread it evenly on the surface and mix it with the soil by ploughing and preparing the land. Base fertilizer plays an important role in improving soil physical properties.

Topdressing: fractional topdressing during the growing period of flowers. Generally, when flowers germinate in spring, the first topdressing is applied to promote luxuriant branches and leaves; before flowering, the second topdressing is applied to promote flowering; and the third topdressing after flowering is applied to supplement the nutrient consumption during flowering. Inorganic fertilizer is commonly used in topdressing. The methods of topdressing are commonly used, such as furrow application, hole application, combined irrigation, extra-root topdressing and ring fertilization.

The commonly used ditch application is to dig shallow ditches between the rows of flower plants, put fertilizer into them, and water them after covering the soil. Hole application, that is, digging holes on both sides of the plant and in the root distribution area, covering the soil and watering after applying fertilizer. Inorganic fertilizer should be used for topdressing outside the root, and the concentration of fertilizer solution should not be too high, and it should be controlled at about 0.2% Murray 0.5%.

Due to the different mobility of various nutrient elements in the soil, different fertilizers are applied at different depths in the soil. The mobility of nitrogen fertilizer in the soil is poor, so it should be deeply applied to the root system.
