Heat preservation

The suitable temperature of Cymbidium in winter is 15 ℃ ~ 20 ℃, which should not be lower than 10 ℃. The temperature should be kept at about 18 ℃ after scurrying, and the best temperature difference between day and night should be about 10 ℃, otherwise the flower arrow will blossom if it does not grow to a proper height, and it is easy to form a clip arrow. Therefore, when the outdoor temperature is lower than 10 ℃ at night, it should be moved indoors. When the indoor temperature is lower than 10 ℃, in addition to covering the surface of the basin soil with a layer of charcoal powder with a thickness of 1 cm, it should also be placed in an indoor sunny warm place. When the indoor temperature is very low, you can cover the flowerpot with a thin film to heat up, but the temperature in the cover should not exceed 25 ℃. If it exceeds, it should be ventilated and cooled down.

Watering and fertilizing

Shi Junzilan is a fleshy root, afraid of water stains, too much watering will suffocate or even rot the roots. Especially in winter, because the temperature is relatively low and the water evaporates slowly, the amount of watering should be controlled. The basin soil should be slightly dry, but it can be watered every 20 days or so. The watering temperature should not be too low and should be equal to room temperature. In order to increase the air humidity, water can be sprayed to the ground around the basin. Avoid excessive watering to produce waterlogging or half-cut-off water to affect root absorption. Fertilizer must be appropriate, do not apply thick fertilizer and raw fertilizer that has not been fermented. Otherwise, it is easy to cause leaf tip scorch or rot.
