West green fruit, also known as Tibetan green fruit, in order to make the young fruit of chebula chebula of the family Fructus chebulae, the young fruit is usually blown off or picked by the wind from September to October, and slightly boiled and scalded in boiling water to be dried or dried. It is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine with high medicinal value. So how to grow the west green fruit? Let's get to know it.

1. Land selection and preparation

The nursery land should choose the sandy loam of sunny, good drainage and Jinshuiyuan, remove stones and weeds, rake deeply and then make the border, the width of the border should be determined according to the topography, and mix evenly on the surface of Gaza after finishing, ready for use. The planting site should be sparse forest slopes and hills in Yang, and sandy loam, humus soil, forest podzolic soil and alluvial soil are required. After selecting the land, we should first remove the weeds, dig the hole, the size of the hole depends on the size of the seedlings, and apply enough rotten farm manure to the bottom of the hole.

2. Planting method

There are many varieties of chebula, and there is a great difference in fruit shape and size. Seeds with strong growth, high yield, good quality and tree age of about 20 years should be selected when planting. Full-grained and fully mature yellow fruits should be picked in winter, and the kernels should be taken out after picking. Then carry on the germination treatment, generally use sand storage treatment, wait for a large number of seeds to germinate and then sow. When sowing, open an opening on the border surface, plant one grain according to the plant spacing of 25 cm and the row spacing of 30 cm, and cover the soil with 3-4 cm, which is covered with straw to keep moist to facilitate seedling emergence. Generally, when the seedlings are raised for 2-3 years, the seedlings can be planted when the seedlings are about 1 meter high, and the row spacing should be kept at about 10-13 meters.

3. Field management

After emergence, the covered straw should be removed in time, and boron shade should be built. The shade degree should be kept at 30%. When the seedlings are about 9 cm high, thin human feces and urine are applied, and then fertilized every 1-2 months, and the concentration increases gradually. In addition, we should often remove weeds and loosen the soil, pay attention to drainage and waterlogging prevention during the rainy season, fertilize 2-3 times a year during the period of young trees, open ditches beside the trees, and apply fully mature farm manure during the fruiting period, so as to increase nutrients and promote flowering and fruiting. Apply fertilizer again after fruit picking to make it grow quickly. The lateral branches of the stem should be cut off from the seedling stage in order to be planted in the nursery as soon as possible. after planting, it needs to be pointed, pruned and shaped in time to make it grow into a dwarf plant to facilitate fruit picking.

4. Pest control

The beetle is one of the main pests of chebula. Its larvae bite the epidermis of the underground root system, resulting in root damage and growth inhibition; adults will bite the tender and new leaves of chebula, making the whole plant bald or bare. When the adult is unearthed, the light can be used to trap or make use of its false death to shake the tree to carry out artificial hunting, or trichlorfon can be used to control the pest during the occurrence period.
