Family flower cultivation should be sown in flowerpots. Pot sowing seedlings had better use a kind of flowerpot called Miao shallow as a container, which is a kind of mud basin specially made by the pot kiln for flower sowing. The upper mouth caliber is 30-32 cm, and the basin height is only 8-10 cm. There is little difference between the inner diameter of the basin bottom and the inner diameter of the upper mouth. There are four drainage holes at the bottom of the basin. You can also sow seeds in ordinary mud pots or sand mud pots, but because the basin is deep, the soil temperature can not come up for a while, which is disadvantageous to seed germination and difficult to sprout. Some people use small wooden boxes as sowing containers, which can maintain a relatively steady soil temperature, but slow-sprouting seeds can not emerge temporarily after sowing in wooden boxes. After a long time, wooden boxes are easy to mildew and infect seeds or flower seedlings.

Before sowing, wash the seedlings shallowly and dry them fully in the sun, cushion the drainage holes at the bottom of the basin with 4 broken tiles, first spread a layer of 1.5 cm thick large-grained river sand as a diuretic layer, and then install the human noodle sand or the old basin soil after sunlight disinfection, flatten the soil with small wood chips, leaving a 3 cm high mouth above. After the basin soil is installed, put the shallow bottom of the seedling on the surface of a large washbasin, let the water slowly seep into the basin from the bottom hole of the shallow seedling, and immediately lift the shallow seedling out of the water after the surface of the basin soil is wet, ready to sow. This kind of water supply method is called basin bottom water supply method, which can prevent the soil surface from being washed into small pits by sprinkling water with spray pots.
