Construction of orchid greenhouse according to the differences of climatic conditions in different regions of our country, the construction methods of orchid greenhouse are also different. The northwestern and northeastern regions have a vast territory, the market is just emerging, and its strain demand is also safflower, but it requires cold resistance and low night temperature resistance.

The physiological characteristics of these varieties of safflower are not exactly the same. The characteristic of 'V31' is to withstand low temperature at night, the cultivation of 'Super Firebird' requires high temperature and low light, 'Jubao Red Rose' is suitable for low temperature flowering at night, and 'Honglong' has excellent flowering quality under long light conditions.

From the above demand background of orchid cultivation, we can understand the particularity of orchid greenhouse, that is, collocation according to the climatic characteristics and physiological characteristics of varieties in the cultivated area. The extreme climate is different in different regions, and the structural characteristics of greenhouse are also different. In South China, the greenhouse should be resistant to typhoon, so the lateral pressure bearing capacity of the greenhouse against wind pressure should be strengthened. In North China, Northeast China and Northwest China, the bearing capacity of vertical snow pressure is the focus of the structure. Greenhouse environmental control equipment must also have different functional requirements according to regional characteristics. Short sunshine time and high relative humidity are the biggest problems in South China, so the ventilation rate of greenhouse should be increased. In greenhouses in central China, muggy summer is the biggest test, so the use of water walls needs to increase the relative humidity setting to reduce the spread of diseases.

The main challenge in North China, Northeast China and Northwest China is the heating equipment that is extremely cold in winter. Due to the low outdoor temperature in winter, measures must be taken to protect plants in the greenhouse for forced ventilation. The problem of roof pollution caused by sandstorms in North China should also be solved.

Therefore, China's orchid industry and greenhouse industry should strengthen exchanges. Orchid operators need to understand the structure of greenhouses and environmental control equipment, as well as the basic theory of environmental control; greenhouse operators need to understand the physiological environment needed for orchid cultivation. Therefore, before building an orchid greenhouse, orchid operators and greenhouse operators should have a common knowledge base, be able to discuss the required greenhouse specifications with each other, build greenhouse facilities according to regional climate characteristics and physiological characteristics of varieties, and install appropriate environmental control equipment.
