Peat soil is an important substrate in the production of potted flowers in high-grade greenhouse. It has the advantages of high water holding capacity, good ventilation performance, small capacity and rich in organic matter, which is beneficial to the long-distance transportation of potted flowers. In developed countries, peat soil is widely used as cultivation substrate in the production of flowers.

According to the growth needs of different flowers, peat soil and perlite vermiculite can be mixed into different cultivation substrates.

1. For potted flowers and ornamental plants that require high water holding capacity, peat soil perlite vermiculite can be used to prepare the cultivation medium at the ratio of 2:1:1.

two。 Pot flowers and seedling substrates with drought tolerance and low water holding capacity can be mixed with peat soil perlite vermiculite at the proportion of 1:1:1.

3. The peat soil is slightly acidic. When preparing the cultivation substrate, it is necessary to add 2kg calcium superphosphate and an appropriate amount of slow-acting fertilizer to each cubic formula matrix, which is beneficial to adjust the pH of the matrix and increase the nutrition of the substrate.
