Excellent varieties are cultivated by distant hybridization. Mating between different varieties or distant plants will result in high seed setting rate, strong vitality and strong stress resistance. Cymbidium was hybridized by the following methods:

① was selected with hybrid parents. Before artificial pollination, the male and female parents were selected as needed to form a hybrid combination. ② artificial pollination process. First of all, at the beginning of a single flower, before the stamen anther is cracked, all stamens should be pulled out with tweezers as soon as possible. Secondly, select and collect pollen grains. When taking pollen, hold the filament with tweezers. After picking it, shake it off and cover it in a glass petri dish. Store it in a cool place where there is no light at 040 ℃. Generally, it can survive for about a week. The best time for pollination is the morning of the second day after the maturation of the ovary and stigma, about the second day after the petals open. At this time, we can see that there is mucus exudation at the top of the pistil stigma with a magnifying glass, dip the collected duplicate pollen grains with a new brush, gently smear it on the pistil stigma, repeat it again on the second day, and then be fertilized.
