The 2019 Yimin Festival was held at the Yimin Temple in Xinpu, Hsinchu County. The ceremony of righteous people's Day (righteous people's sacrifice) is deeply representative in Hakka culture, and it is the only intangible cultural asset that belongs to the inheritance of Hakka village in the important folklore designated by the country.

The righteous people's festival began on the 21st to welcome Yimin to the sacrificial area to pray for blessings, and a grand seating ceremony was held in accordance with the traditional ceremony. the series of activities did not end until August 22, when Yimin returned to Luan. During the one-month celebration, including poling, water discharge ceremony, celebration and so on, the Hsinchu County Bureau of Culture held a series of activities. There are campus tours of the story of the righteous people, lectures on the culture of the righteous people, small tours of the righteous people, arts and cultural exhibitions of Hakka operas, and so on, so that people can learn more about the culture of the righteous people.

In order to invite tourists, large and small, to visit Hsinchu, the Hsinchu County Bureau of Culture also launched an one-day tour of "sacrifice for the righteous people". In addition to leading tourists to deeply understand the sacrifice of the righteous people, they visited the Hakka town in Xinpu, which was reclaimed in the 18th century, and went into the old streets and alleys to enjoy the appearance of the century-old streets preserved since the Japanese occupation. Xinpu Town is dominated by Hakka ethnic groups, and it still retains many beautifully constructed Hakka ancestral halls, with the saying of "nine ancestral halls in three streets, six alleys and six alleys."

A day trip starts from Taipei Station.
