In order to show higher ornamental value of potted flowers, we need to fertilize them in time. Generally speaking, there are three common fertilization methods for potted flowers.

First, pot soil base fertilizer we mix fertilizer in the pot soil according to a certain proportion when the flowers are on the pot. this kind of pot soil base fertilizer can increase the nutrients of the potted soil so that the flowers can be absorbed when they grow.

Second, additional fertilizer (liquid) although we mixed the base fertilizer in the potted soil when we put it on the pot, but because the potted flowers are limited by the size of the flowerpot, there is not much potted soil, and the fertilizer of potted soil is also limited. Therefore, in the different growth stages of potted flowers, we should also add fertilizer in time according to their growth needs. The additional fertilizer is usually chemical fertilizer or fermented organic fertilizer leachate. When adding chemical fertilizer, we can sprinkle the chemical fertilizer on the surface of the basin soil and dissolve the fertilizer in the soil by watering, while the fermented organic fertilizer leachate can be diluted and poured into the soil when watering; and fermented cake fertilizer and animal manure can be mixed with the basin soil when loosening the soil.

Foliar fertilization after we dilute the liquid fertilizer, we use a sprayer to spray directly on the foliage of flowers to absorb fertility through the foliage. This way allows plants to absorb nutrients more quickly. It should be noted that foliar fertilization can be carried out every morning and evening. It is not suitable to spray water on the leaf surface at noon.
