When growing vegetables in greenhouse, the main problems encountered in summer are high temperature, strong light, drought, diseases and insect pests. These are all problems caused by summer. Generally, summer is the key period for the management of growing vegetables in greenhouse. Therefore, we should focus on management. We can take a look at the specific management of these aspects now.

1. Cooling

Generally speaking, if the temperature is more than 33 degrees in the shed, it is necessary to cool down cleanly, otherwise the vegetables will die of heat. If it is a simple greenhouse, it is best to open the skylight, do not open the curtain, so that the external high temperature will not affect the interior. I really can't open the curtain for ventilation. Front and rear ventilation, probably sunshade net. Or, oh, grass curtains and the like to block out the sun, the temperature will drop a little.

2. Shading

The summer light is too strong, which completely exceeds the needs of vegetables. With strong light for a long time, it is easy to quickly evaporate the moisture of vegetables, increase the ground temperature, steam and roast, and vegetables are easy to lose water and wither and eventually dry to death. The ground is also prone to drought and affects temperature at the same time. It is best to quickly hang the sunshade net, one layer is not enough to hang two layers can, sunshade net, can directly reduce the light and temperature in the shed.

3. Moisturizing

High temperatures and strong light affect the loss of soil moisture, which is very dry, and if it is already dry, the temperature drops at night and drip irrigation all night when there is no sun. At the same time, continue to ventilate. Avoid excessive humidity in the air. Ventilation and cooling, watering does not hurt the root system.

4. Disease and pest control

High temperature and drought are prone to aphid pests. If it rains with high humidity and cannot be discharged smoothly, it will produce some rotten mildew-like diseases. This kind of disease is easy to re-infection, repeated infection, pandemic, limited greenhouse space, once the disease occurs, it will spread quickly. Therefore, before entering the summer, the soil should be sprayed with disinfectants and vegetables should be sprayed with some protective agents to prevent.

Due to the influence of some characteristics of summer, it is difficult for greenhouse vegetables to spend the summer. However, we should try our best to adjust and restore the suitable growth environment. This can help vegetables survive the summer safely and keep growing without causing damage.
