The winning team will receive a prize of 100,000 yuan and go to Tokyo to watch the 14th "Japan National School-eating Garden" competition. The theme of this competition is "delicious hometown". Contestants are expected to think in the process of designing the menu: "what is the taste of our hometown?" How in the daily lunch supply, not only take into account the nutrition and delicacy, but also be able to integrate local ingredients and customs, is the focus of the decisive victory. Last year, dietitians brought out Ilan West stewed pork, Lugang Shrimp Monkey Sauce, Tainan milkfish and Kaohsiung water lotus, bringing home characteristic ingredients onto the national competition stage and won praise from the judges.
The schedule of the Taiwan School lunch Competition includes two items: "food education teaching" and "cooking practice". On the first day of food education teaching, participants must explain the characteristics of the ingredients and the concept of diet education in the competition within 5 minutes. In the cooking competition on the second day, each team should complete six school lunches in 90 minutes, including washing, cutting, cooking and preparing the table cleaning homework.
