Does plant seed need sunshine to sprout?
Do you need sunshine for seed germination?
In fact, we have to talk about the question of whether seeds need sunshine to germinate or not. The germination of the seeds of some plants, such as sunflowers, wheat and beans, has nothing to do with sunlight, but the seeds of plants such as cockscomb, mandala, amaranth and onions have a higher germination rate in the dark than in sunlight, while some plants, such as field grass and black recommended seeds, have a higher germination rate in light. Therefore, when we sow plant seeds, we should choose the sowing method according to the different characteristics of plant seeds. For plant seeds that like light, we can choose shallow sowing, while for plant seeds that do not like light, we can increase the sowing depth to avoid the adverse effects of light on seed germination.
It should be noted that no matter what kind of plant seeds, after germination, all need sunlight, so as to synthesize chlorophyll, produce nutrients, and make the plant grow more healthily.
