Three details are easy to be ignored in greenhouse management.
Detail 1: ventilation should be carried out in stages
On a sunny day, ventilation should be done for 1 hour after uncovering the straw blanket. When ventilation, first open a small opening, with the increase of the temperature in the shed, and then gradually increase the vent, in order to facilitate the entry of carbon dioxide into the greenhouse and promote the photosynthesis of vegetables. Do not close the vents at once in the afternoon, but gradually. The vent can be closed in half first, and then completely closed after 30 minutes. You can also close the vents first, and then turn on the vents to cool down for 10 minutes for 15 minutes, so repeat twice. When the temperature in the shed is stable at about 15 ℃, the vents can be completely closed.
If you encounter continuous cloudy days, when the external temperature is low, the greenhouse should be mainly heat preservation, but should not be unventilated. If there is no ventilation and the humidity in the shed is too high, it will provide conditions for the infection and spread of the disease.
Ventilation should be carried out from 12:00 to 2 p.m., the vents should be opened to 10 cm wide, 10 minutes at a time, once every 20 minutes, once every 30 minutes, and continuous ventilation for 2 cycles for 3 times can play a good role in reducing humidity.
Detail 2: adding luster is necessary
After entering winter, the lack of light has become an important reason to affect the increase of vegetable yield. Most vegetable farmers know that setting a reflective curtain in the greenhouse is beneficial to the growth of vegetables. However, some vegetable farmers hang the reflective screen too low, and the vegetable plants are easy to block the light, resulting in poor use of the reflective screen. When hanging a reflective screen, the reflective screen with a width of 1.2 meters should be hung at a height of 1.7 meters on the back wall. Do not hang a reflective screen on the back wall of the whole shed to prevent reducing the heat storage of the back wall. For vegetables that need strong light, such as cucumber and towel gourd, special supplementary lights can be installed in the greenhouse for 2 hours to prolong the exposure time of vegetables, so as to promote the accumulation of organic matter and increase the yield of vegetables.
Detail 3: hanging hygrometer in the shed
Humidity control is one of the key points of vegetable management in greenhouse in winter. Now, many vegetable farmers know that it is appropriate for the humidity in the shed to be 70% and 80%. However, because there are no hygrometers hanging in many sheds, vegetable farmers can not accurately grasp the humidity in the shed, resulting in frequent occurrence of diseases. Therefore, the hygrometer should be hung in the shed, which is especially important for novice vegetable growers. When the humidity in the shed is too high, vegetable farmers can not only ventilate and dehumidify, but also sprinkle plant ash to the ground.
