When the soil water content is less than 50%, the sesame will be displaced due to drought, and when the soil water content is higher than 90%, it is disadvantageous to its growth, and it is very likely to kill the seedlings.

2. Watering time

During the growth of sesame, when the soil water content is close to 50% of the maximum water holding capacity, or when the light soil water content is less than 13%, the middle loam is less than 15%, and the clay loam is less than 16%, the sesame will wither. In the case of summer or autumn drought, the upper leaves of sesame can be seen withering at about 10:00 in the morning, and will gradually recover after the high temperature at noon. 3. Watering method
