The 2019 World Chocolate Awards Asia-Pacific Competition will be held in Pingtung County. County Mayor Pan Mengan stressed that Taiwan's cocoa industry has come to the fore on the world stage and will gradually upgrade in the real estate industry in the future.
County Mayor Pan Mengan said that the World Chocolate Competition (International Chocolate Awards, ICA) was selected in more than 10 regions around the world, including America, Asia-Pacific, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom, and then held the global final after selecting regional representatives. It is currently the most extensive chocolate competition covering the region, and it is also recognized by the industry as the largest and most reliable competition. Pingtung County-long-term implementation of the development of the cocoa industry, winning the right to host the 2019 World Chocolate Awards Asia-Pacific Competition, and working with the Hakka Committee and the soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan to promote the cocoa industry and lead the real estate industry towards internationalization.
The Pingtung County Hakka Office said that the finals of the 2019 World Chocolate Competition in the Asia-Pacific region will be judged at the Pingtung University of Science and Technology from August 31 to September 5, and an award ceremony will be held on September 7. the winners of the 2019 Asia-Pacific Competition will be announced, and all Asia-Pacific contestants and judges will be invited to attend the competition, which will be a grand and grand chocolate feast.
