Recently, urban and rural areas in Changhua County reported three local chicken farms diagnosed with highly pathogenic avian influenza of H5N2 subtype within a week, culling a total of more than 80,000 poultry. Poultry breeders should strengthen the daily operation and management measures in the farm area. The livestock institute has started the disinfection of the surrounding environment in the intensive poultry breeding area of Chiayi County, and has assisted in disinfection of poultry farms, cargo farms and public areas for 4139 times so far in 108. poultry breeders are urged to carry out cleaning and disinfection operations on the farm simultaneously.
