Edible fungus mite also calls fungus lice, fungus spider, fungus mite, can harm many kinds of edible fungus. At the initial stage of inoculation of edible fungi, the mycelium of the inoculated block was bitten first, and the mycelium germination was often not seen; later, the mushroom mite damage would cause the mushroom bud to shrink and die.

The fruit body was damaged by mushroom mites, and the damaged parts changed color or appeared holes, which seriously affected the yield and quality. Mushroom mites are small, not easy to see with the naked eye, easy to harm mushrooms. Therefore, mushroom mites should be controlled in time in the cultivation and management of edible fungi.

7 days after inoculation of edible fungi, cover the colored film on the surface of the material for 5~10 minutes, and then observe with a magnifying glass close to one side of the cultivation material. Once a mushroom mite with small body, flat or oval shape, white or yellow color and multiple setae is found, the following methods should be selected immediately to kill it.

1. Spray mites: spray mites with 50% omethoate 1000 times solution, chrysanthemum ester 1500 times solution or parmite 500 times solution.

2. Rapeseed cake trapping: spread several wet cloths on the material surface damaged by mushroom mites, sprinkle the freshly fried rapeseed cake on the wet cloth, and when the mites gather on the rapeseed cake of the wet cloth, remove the wet cloth and put it in boiling water for a moment to kill the mites.

3, sweet and sour liquid trap: take 1 part acetic acid, 1 part water, 0.1 part white sugar, mix well and drop dichlorvos, that is, sweet and sour liquid medicine. Put gauze or cotton soaked with liquid medicine on the material surface, and take it off when mites gather on it. Repeat until no mites are found.

4. Fresh bone trapping: Put fresh pig bones on the bed surface where mushroom mites are infested, and discharge them alternately. When mites gather on it, put the bones in boiling water for a moment to kill mites. Repeat several times until there are no mites on the surface. (Source: China Agricultural Extension Network)
