Wu Jinhua, a Bunong farmer, and Shi Huilan, his wife, are both aborigines of the Bunong people in Xinyi Township. Wu Jinhua was a gold medalist in the "Free fight" regional games, while Shi Huilan was a writer and historian who won the national gold medal for fieldwork.
