Sowing and Seedling raising techniques of Lotus Root
I believe that everyone is no stranger to lotus root, its high nutritional value, taste, in recent years, the planting area is also expanding, but lotus root planting is not simple, the following editor to take you to understand the lotus root sowing and seedling technology.
1. Seed selection
There are many varieties of lotus root, so we should choose the seeds of local varieties that are more suitable for growth and consumption habits. At the same time, we should choose the strong buds of this variety, and the diseased lotus roots should not be used or used less as far as possible. After seed selection and disinfection, carbendazim can be used 500-800 times as much as water. After selecting the strong seed lotus root, cut the incision at the 2cm from the bud point on the seed with bud point, and then put it in a cool and ventilated place to dry the liquid to wait for planting.
2. Sowing seeds
The nursery bed should choose fields that are leeward to the sun and facilitate drainage and irrigation, and 2000-3000 kg of rotten farm manure should be applied per mu before sowing to facilitate field heat preservation and promote seedlings. Sowing can be carried out when the local temperature is stable above 10 degrees, usually from February to March. Attention should be paid to classification when sowing. Big bud lotus root is planted in one field, small bud lotus root is planted in one field, and the row spacing is controlled as 5cm × 10cm, which is convenient for later management. After planting, maintaining a suitable greenhouse is the key to ensure the survival of seedlings, the early temperature over-growth is relatively slow, low temperature should be covered with film to keep warm, and high temperature should be ventilated to avoid leaf burns.
3. Field management
The seedlings can be planted in the field when they grow to 1 whip of leaves. Before planting and emergence, the seedling bed should be sprayed with a disease prevention liquid. 50% carbendazim powder can be sprayed with 1 kg of soil or 1000 times of 70% methyl topiramate. After planting, when the first standing leaf is extracted, 15-20 kg of urea is applied per mu, and 30-40 kg of urea, 30 kg of potash fertilizer, or 50-60 kg of compound fertilizer are applied per mu when the leaf stops pulling out. Proper spraying of foliar fertilizer and potassium dihydrogen phosphate at lotus root stage can promote the growth of lotus root. In the early stage of growth, the temperature of the low water layer should be shallow, which is conducive to the rise of the ground temperature. Before the standing leaves are pulled out, the water layer is maintained at 5-10 cm. During the vigorous growth period, the water layer gradually deepens to 20 cm. In the later stage of growth, the water layer should be controlled at about 5 cm to promote the hypertrophy of lotus root.
