Detergent can prevent and cure the insect pests of most potted flowers. Spraying 1000 times of detergent solution on the leaves of flowers can keep flowers from being harmed by red spiders for about half a month. To shell insects on perennial herbs and woody flowers, 1000 times detergent solution is sprayed every 3 times every 4 days for 2 consecutive times, which also has obvious control effect. The nematode damage of flower root and bulb can be controlled by pouring 1000 times washing powder solution around flower root.

However, the long-term use of detergent insecticidal will increase the alkalinity of the basin soil and affect the normal growth of flowers. Therefore, some acid fertilizers must be applied as appropriate, and the soil must be loosened and changed frequently to prevent the basinization of the basin soil.
