Grape is a kind of vine vine fruit tree with exuberant growth, and its growth needs to absorb a lot of water and nutrition from the soil, so the grape root system is very important, so it is necessary to ensure a good growth environment of the grape root system and adjust some factors that affect the growth of the grape root system to maintain the best state of root growth. Let's take a look at the main influencing factors.

1. Moisture

Grape root growth needs a lot of water, so there can not be drought, after drought, there will be relatively weak plant growth, yellowing, fallen leaves, and the result is very small or poor coloring. But there can be no stagnant water, which will suffocate the roots and rot in the ground, and the whole plant will be useless. It is best that the humidity in the field is more than 55% at ordinary times, and the fruiting period is maintained at about 65%.

2. Consumption

If the plant grows too fast, it will consume a lot of nutrition, and it will be more difficult for the root system to grow, without nutritional support, and it will be full of fruit after fruiting, but it will consume a lot of nutrition without fruit thinning or pruning. In this way, the tree nutrition is not balanced, there will be difficulties in root growth. It is best to thinning branches and fruits, pruning, spraying growth regulators.

3. Fertilization

When applying chemical fertilizer, we should pay attention to the concentration of fertilizer, apply a small amount of fertilizer with high concentration, and use it after dissolving it with water, and it should be far away from the root system. It can be spread on the surface and buried in the soil, which can prevent the root system from being burnt. It is also good for root absorption. The application of farm manure must be completely mature, do not carry soil-borne bacteria to infect the root system. At a low temperature in spring, biological stimulants can be used to promote root activity.

4. Soil pH

Grape growing soil generally has a pH range that can adapt to growth, beyond the range, too high or too low will affect growth, soil acidification will cause root system damage, poor plant growth, root blackening, decay, or death, soil nutrients can not be absorbed, leaves grow slowly, weak resistance, easy to infect diseases. Generally use less acid fertilizer.

5. Organic matter

The content of organic matter in fertile soil is very high, so there are many microorganisms and exuberant activities, the soil will change loosely and breathably, which is very beneficial to root respiration and growth, root growth is accelerated, more roots are produced, and roots can be renewed.

Grape root growth is best in the soil environment with loose fertility, air permeability, rich trace elements and suitable acidity and alkalinity, we should pay attention to the influence of water content and fertilization, and apply more organic fertilizer with high organic content.
