Last Updated: 2024/11/08, In order to better understand the grafting methods of succulent plants, cactus, cactus and stone lotus are selected to introduce three kinds of succulent plants.

First, the grafting method of cactus:

The main results are as follows: 1. The grafting operation of cactus is relatively simple, with a thinner blade.

2. Grafting should be carried out in the growing period, and the most suitable season is the peak growing season in early summer. Grafting in sunny days with high temperature and humidity should be operated in the early morning when the air is dry.

3. When choosing rootstocks and scions, you should choose strong and disease-free ones, not the too old parts of Lignification, but those that are too young are not suitable.

4. The interface of rootstock is determined by a variety of factors. Varieties without chlorophyll should be higher to ensure adequate supply of light and products.

5. It takes about 2 weeks to manage carefully, after that, the shady place can not be exposed to sunlight, and the interface can not be stained with water before it is completely healed. After survival, the lateral buds from the rootstock should be removed as soon as possible so as not to affect the growth of the scion.

Second, the grafting method of cactus:

1. The diameter of the surviving grass ball should not be less than 5cm.

2. There should be grafted ready-made crab or finger materials with leaves with a growing period of not less than one year.

3. Prepare blades, knives and scissors.

4. Choose a grass ball not less than 5cm in diameter and cut off all the small thorns at the top with scissors.

5. Disinfect the blade with alcohol, place the blade between the two edges in the middle of the ball, and cut down vertically a hole about 1.5cm deep about 2cm (do not cut on the edge to avoid greater deformation in the later stage). The 12-sided side is half, and the 11-or 13-sided side is one more and one less.

Third, the grafting method of stone lotus:

The main results are as follows: 1. The leaves in the lower part of the stem of the old plant fall off, forming "bare legs".

2. The old plant was used as the rootstock and the red leaf stone lotus flower as the scion.

3. Part of the leaves at the top of the old plant were removed to expose the stem about 5 cm.
