Dupo sheep is a breed of sheep bred by South African black-headed Persian ewes and British Dorset sheep. There is a difference between blackheads and white heads. At present, there are many farms for raising Duper sheep in China. The main work of raising sheep is daily feeding. Feeding different sheep will be different in different periods according to their physical characteristics and digestion and absorption capacity. Now let's learn about it.

1. Energy feed

Energy feed mainly supplies a large amount of energy, mainly some food crops, such as corn, sorghum, wheat and so on, similar to staple food. Generally, there is nothing to replace, feed mostly dried food crops, rarely feed fresh food, such as fresh corn, high dry matter content is good for growth.

2. Protein feed

High-protein feed is the main protein feed, mainly soybean bean cake, peanut cake, rapeseed cake, some oil crop dregs can be fed, but cottonseed cake should not be fed, cottonseed cake is poisonous, although sheep are ruminants can eat, but try not to feed cottonseed cake. It is best to feed other non-toxic bean cakes, the nutrition is also much better.

3. Minerals and trace elements

The growth of sheep needs to supplement some minerals and trace elements, mainly for bone and other development needs, so bone meal, fish meal, stone meal and so on can be added to the feed from time to time, which can supplement some calcium and phosphorus elements.

4. Feeding quantity

Generally, how much sheep eat and how much they feed, the sheep generally do not overeat, but if you feed more times, you can roughly estimate how much an adult sheep eats every day. Generally, roughage ranges from 2 jin to 3 jin a day, and fine feed weighs 1 jin a day. If you go out for stocking, you don't have to feed so much, you can reduce roughage to half a jin to 1 jin, and concentrate is still 1 jin.

5. Points for attention

Feed the big sheep, lambs, pregnant ewes, male goats and thin sheep separately; feed regularly, feed three times a day, and the difference is obvious in the morning, middle and evening; don't feed too much at one time, and then observe the supply after eating; feed clean and mildew-free feed; a variety of feed should be matched and fed with rich nutrients; feed can be fed through a variety of processing methods; feed with poor taste and then good taste.

The main method of feeding Duper sheep is to distinguish the feed composition and feed the corresponding feed according to the demand. Sheep in different growth periods should be fed separately, and some specific contents should be paid attention to in feed feeding.
