Iron tree is a very good landscape plant, the effect of greening and beautifying the environment is very good, it is generally planted as a large and medium-sized pot for a variety of places. However, after the potted iron tree has been cultivated for 4-5 years, some tender buds with "bumps" will burst on the pile foundation of the mother plant, and the buds will continue to grow with the mother plant. So, do you want to get rid of the sprouting of the root of the iron tree?

When the mother tree keeps many young plants, with the continuous growth of the young plants, it will gradually destroy the regular base of the mother plant, and will continue to consume the nutrients in the basin at the same time. This will not only make the potted plant look messy, but also consume a lot of nutrients that originally belong to the mother plant, thus affecting the normal growth of the mother plant. Therefore, under normal circumstances, we need to clean up the sprouting of the roots of the iron tree.

Of course, prematurely cleaning up the new buds sprouting from the base of the mother plant will naturally save a lot of nutrients, but this is the treatment we take when we are not going to breed the iron tree. If we need to use these new buds to propagate potted seedlings, it is generally recommended that the new buds grow up a bit and then cut off from the mother plant together with the "pimples" at the base of the new buds.

The new buds that burst from the base of the mother plant can be used to breed potted seedlings, so we can make full use of these resources. When the new buds grow to a certain height, we can cut them off from the mother plant. Then apply some plant ash to the wounds left on the mother plant to prevent bacterial infection and cause rotting roots of the mother plant.

Not only that, young plants with "bumps" cut from the mother plant also need to be smeared with some plant ash to prevent infection. However, before applying plant ash, it is recommended to smooth the wound, then apply plant ash and put it in a brightly ventilated place to dry the wound. After the wound condenses, dries and heals, we use it as a potted plant to cultivate.

It is generally recommended to use Susha to cultivate, cut off the upper part of the overlong leaves of the young plants, and keep the length of about 5-10 cm below. Then bury the "pimple" at the base of the seedling in the plain sand, cover the 3 parts of the "pimple" with sand, and then pour water thoroughly. It is said that it is thoroughly watered, but generally does not take the way of watering, but takes the way of soaking basin or spraying through water.

Finally, we provide a semi-shaded and ventilated slow seedling environment for the young plants. As long as the growth environment is suitable, generally more than a month later, the young plants of the iron tree will take root on the knot. When the new root grows to 5-6 cm long, we can transplant it into a flowerpot and plant it as a pot.
