Autumn flower anthracnose symptoms: the disease mainly occurs on the leaves, but also can damage petioles, twigs, stems and flower buds petals. After the leaves were damaged, they showed small round pale water-soaked spots at the beginning, gradually enlarged and appeared grayish brown, surrounded by brown edges and slightly raised. Finally, the central part of the lesion faded into gray to white, and the disease was extremely thin, translucent and easy to perforate. Also some first from the leaf tip disease, after the extension of the leaves. The disease spots often reach 1/3--1/2 of the whole leaf surface, and finally the leaves die. Some constantly shed, seriously damaged plants, often the whole plant without a leaf. When petiole is damaged, the diseased part turns brown, slightly sunken, spreads to the main vein, branch vein and even the whole leaf turning brown, the diseased spot continues to spread downward, from petiolule to total petiole, branchlet, even stem turning brown and dying. Under wet conditions, the spots often produce reddish sticky matter, which is the spore disk produced by the bacteria. Affected plants, light affected normal growth and development, loss of ornamental value, heavy led to the death of the whole plant. Camellia, rose, Milan, white orchid, lily, Magnolia, southern bamboo, evergreen, Clivia, cacti, plum blossoms, orchids and other flowers prone to this disease.

Control methods: strengthen cultivation management, increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizer appropriately, avoid partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, water should not be too much, pot soil should not be too wet, at the same time to enhance ventilation and light transmission performance, reduce humidity. Discovered diseased leaves, diseased petioles should be immediately cut off and burned, and to remove dead plants in time. When the disease occurs, spray 50% anthrax and formyl wettable powder 500 times or 70% thiophane methyl 1000 times, and 75% chlorothalonil 800 times, spray once every 10- 15 days, continuously spray 2-3 times, alternate use of chemicals, can improve the control effect.
