Pork is the largest consumption of meat in China every year, so the breeding area of pigs in our country is very large. Although the area of raising pigs is large, when raising pigs, we must do a good job in all kinds of preparatory work. Among them, deworming is something we can not ignore, and there are many things we need to pay attention to in raising pigs and repellent insects. Improper deworming will affect the growth of pigs and reduce efficiency. So today, the editor brings you some notes on raising pigs and repellent worms. Let's take a look!

1. Selection of anthelmintic drugs

When deworming pigs, we must first do a good job in the selection of deworming drugs. We have to choose deworming drugs according to the common parasites in pigs, such as scabies mites, roundworms and so on. Insect repellents should be safe, effective and from regular manufacturers. Avermectin is most commonly used by many friends in deworming, but avermectin is mainly used to drive out scabies mites, which has no obvious effect on Ascaris lumbricoides, hair nematodes and so on. At the same time, try to use less or not use trichlorfon and other toxic drugs, in deworming, we should pay attention to control the amount of medicine, not too much too little, to avoid poor effect or affect the effect of deworming.

2. Deworming time

The deworming time also needs our attention, and we need to adjust the deworming time reasonably according to the growth stage of the pig. When deworming piglets, it is appropriate to do it at the age of about 45-50 days. After taking the drug, the worm can be killed, but it has no effect on the eggs. Therefore, in order to control the effect, the drug should be used again a week after the first deworming, lasting for about 7 days. In order to be able to kill all the eggs, breeding pigs can not ignore deworming, generally up to 4 months or so. If it is for oral use, then before feeding, you should stop eating a meal to promote the pig to eat up all the feed with medicine.

3. Check the deworming effect

After the deworming work is done, the efficacy of the insect repellent can not be effective immediately. Generally speaking, the effect will not show until about half a month after deworming. Therefore, do not worry, do not repeat the use of drugs, affecting the growth of pigs. When we are deworming, we should pay attention to the state of the pig. If the pig in the deworming appeared poisoning, vomiting, diarrhea and other bad phenomena. The piggery should be isolated in time, and then the sick pigs should be more active to reduce the poisoning effect. In serious cases, it is necessary to rescue piggery adrenaline and other drugs in time.

4. Exterminate parasites

If you want to completely solve the parasite problem, deworming is far from enough. At present, there is almost no insect repellent on the market that can kill the eggs. After deworming, the eggs will be excreted by the pigs. If the excreta is not disposed of in time, it will have a great impact on environmental pollution. And it will also lead to parasites in pig farms year after year. Therefore, attention should be paid to the clean-up of pig feces, fermentation, incineration and other harmless treatment. After about two months of fermentation, these excrements can also be used as fertilizer for crops, killing two birds with one stone.

The above is a brief introduction to the matters needing attention in raising pigs and deworming. Pig deworming work is important, but should not be carried out blindly, to prevent poisoning and other adverse phenomena, to ensure the normal growth of pigs. This is the end of today's introduction, this article is for reference only, I hope it can be helpful to everyone!
